the agency of the Protestant Episcopal Church in Massachusetts for
the care of children and young people, is offering prizes totaling
$250.00 for a new name.e The contest is open to the public.a may be

Macsechupinding the present name a misnomer--in fact a contradiction
of the work the society is doing--the Board of Directors now offers
prizes of $150.00, $75.00, and $25.00 for a name that will be inclu-
sive enoughto meet changing conditions and which will bring the or
society up-to-date in its name as well as its work. It is pointed
out that the trend of today is shown in organizations choosing a name
which honors a founder, or a family which has supported the work for
generations; that the old Associated Charitieskis now the Family Wel-
fare Society and that,eyears ago,the Refuge for Penitent Females was
re-named the Bethe sda Socfetyg of information at 41 t. Vernon
Street, The society cares for babies, little boys and girls, boys and
girls of high school age, convalescents, the friendless unmarried
