THAT
MR. WINTHROP B. ALLEN will continue to paint gardens in watercolors this Spring and Summer,
under the auspices of the Society, and that
MRS. ESTHER M. ANDROS, designer of bookplates, will make informal bookplate designs of garden
corners and doorways from photographs.
When Your Garden Is At Its Best capture for all time the mood and the color of your favorite
corner, the grays and greens of the rock garden and the pool, the border of rose Canterbury Bells,
Madonna lilies mingling with azure delphinium, gay bachelor buttons, pastel phlox, or the later cosmos
and soft-toned zinnias.
MR. ALLEN will be pleased to make appointments through the Society at 41 Mount Vernon
Street (HAYmarket 5980). Out-of-town transportation must be furnished from Boston.

Snapshots, enlargements or studio photographs may be submitted to Mrs. Andros
in care of the Society.
