March finds the League deep in legislative
Work. Last year we were instrumental in securing the
appointment of a recess commission to study the laws
affecting the welfare of dependent children.
Commission has asked for a year's extension for
further study of these probl ems. Some of the im-
portant subjects to be dealt with are juvenile courts,
domestic relations courts, adoptions, etc.
