Students of the University became interested in a group
of boys and met with them from time to time.
Classes organized
House rented at 2524 South Street
Two residents secured
Boys' camp started. Five students took twenty boys out
for a week
Clubs removed to 2623 South Street
Work for girls begun in a private house
Site of the present building purchased at 26th and Lom-
bard streets. Large building at 403 South Taney Street
rented for women and girls.
Men's Rescue Club started in a building at the corner of
Lombard and Taney Streets. Here two students lived.
Branch was opened at 2635 Christian Street
