At present, the young life of
the Valley finds a far too easy solution of the problem in the
saloens which have been quick to take advantage of the situation.
Appreciating fully these conditions in the Valley, and the
need of some social center which welcomes men and women of
every occupation and creed, no attempt is made to force
anything upon our neighbors, but we have tried to find their needs,
and then to supply them as best we could."
