While working with thi8 photograph, note that the emo-
tionsl effect of the tones accounts for only a part of what goee on
in the picture.
The part it pleys is important, compared to the
example used for the Texture Concept, however it is equivelent to
perhaps, one word in a sentence; whereas the texture, in the Pepper
and Strawflowers was the subject and the predicate if not the word.
Tonal Oistribution: a large share of dark tones, so a richness and
heaviness of mood.
A lerge solid block of white, so the feelings
that accompany brilliance are also present. Again the two play
egainst one ano ther, increasing the intensity of esch other.
Tonal Contrast: Obviously hi gh with one solid block of white egainet
a massof dark. Impact is imparted to the solidity.
