This Society was founded 1906 in the grape dis trict,carries
on both distribution and production. Members must belong to
both branches, although they farm their small holdings sep
arately. The distributive society supplies groceries and
o ther necessities. The productive society turns the grape
harvest into wine,stores it in co-operative cellars, sells
it, and buys manure, implements, etc. necessary for the wime
industry.
