The relatively few houses in each block
which come into record for an important
reason may be given an area number,
instead of a street number, by recording
the address in some simple register under
the block number and assigning a suffix
The inexpensive columnar book known
in the market everywhere as the "Stand-
ard Figuring Book" has served well in the
way shown in the cut. The area number
4.233a is readily translated into No. 122
Greenwood street. There is little work in
